Spiced Beans and Rice

Ingredients:

1 pack microwave rice

1 tin Sweet Chili Beans

2 mushrooms

1 tomato

1 egg (optional)

1/2 an onion

5 turns pepper

1 tortilla/wrap

Some grated/sliced cheese if you fancy it

Prep:

*If you want to add an egg, cook it first, then add the rest to the pan when it’s sufficiently done, otherwise it’ll turn saucy–unless you want an egg/chili sauce, in which case, add it with everything else.  If you’re not using an egg, ignore this bit and skip ahead.

If you want your veg to be cooked separate/in a special way, do so, then add the tin and packet.  Otherwise, put everything but the tortilla in a large saucepan and heat till you’re satisfied with it.  I think I had it on the hob for about 10 min. For about a minute before removing the pan from the heat, cover it with the tortilla to steam it.  If you want a burrito, put some of the mix in the tortilla, add cheese for extra taste, if you wish.  You can also just have the mix on a plate with tortilla as a side act/accompaniment, as I did.
